6th International Conference - Wind Energy in Romania
Romania has the highest wind potential in South Eastern Europe. A study of Erste Bank places Romania and especially the Dobrogea Region with Constanţa and Tulcea counties as the second best place in Europe to construct wind farms due to its large wind potential.
Romania is set to significantly expand its wind energy capacity over the coming years, improving on its position as one of the European countries with the lowest amount of wind farm capacity installed. Currently the country has 1941 MW (according to RWEA data January 2013) of wind power installed capacity, but the European Wind Energy Association, in its Pure Power report, predicts this will rise to 3,500 MW, all of that onshore wind power.
So Romania received a leading position in wind energy sector of East Europe, in the last years.
Investors need to be informed about the actual status, law, financing possibilities of wind energy in the region. That is why REECO, Renewable Energy Exhibition and Conference Organizer all over Europe, keeps the tradition of the last years and creates a meeting platform for wind energy experts in the framework of the 6th International Conference - Wind Energy in Romania and the side events. The one day conference is dedicated for presenting the legal, economics, financing and operational conditions of wind Energy in Romania. There also come to speech producers, who present their solution.
