Impressions After Event RENEXPO® South-East Europe 2009 Second edition with success

In the Palace Hall Bucharest took place between the 11.-13.11.2009, the second edition of RENEXPO® South-East Europe, international trade fair and conference for renewable energy and energy efficiency in construction and renovation together with passive and low energy houses.

„With 1.530 visiting experts, it has been a great success in this period of financial crisis! We are happy to have had visitors from  Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Sweden, Holland amd Danemark, - declares project manager Avena Gall-Tamas, REECO RO Expoziţii S.R.L.

55 exhibitors – from 7 European countries- informed the visitors about the future renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and renewable energy. Biogas, wood energy, geothermal Energy, solar Energy, hydropower and passive house are only some of the trade fair themes.  

The opening ceremony was held by Project Manager, Avena Gall-Tamas, Johann Georg Röhm, CEO  REECO Group, Dr. Ralf Utermöhlen, Coordinator of the European Project PROBIOPOL, Florin Beiu, Director al Directorate of Evaluation and Exploration of Agricultural Products, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development Romania.  Also important representatives of mass media were present from specialized magazines, newspapers, television and radios. 

The five conferences and the workshop that took place in parallel to the trade fair, attracted over 450 from the country, but also from Hungary, Slovenia, The Czech Republic, Belgium, Italy, Greece, Austria and Germany.

The first Conference: Cogeneration in Romania brought an unexpected success. The 65 participants and referees discussed topics like: Strategies for heat supply of cities, based on cogeneration, Model of reinvigorating the national economy by expanding the cogeneration, Investments in cogeneration of high efficiency and many others.

On The 2nd International Conference: Wind Energy in Romania presented papers to about 140 participants referees as Ioan Dan GHEORGHIU, Chairman and CEO, Institute for Studies and Power Engineering, Romania, Dana DUICA, Executive Director, Romanian Wind Energy Association, Romania, Adrian BOROTEA, Corporate Affairs Director CEZ, Carmen NEAGU, Country Executive for Romania and Bulgaria, GE Energy, Petru RUSET, Energy Division Director Siemens Romania, Thomas ANNEGG, Sales for Eastern Europeans Countries, NORDEX Germany, David Guiu POBLADOR, East Europe Area Manager, Gamesa, Spain, Karl Heinz FATRDLA, Directori vânzări, Sales Director VESTAS Central Europe, Austria and many others. 

The REECO Group will also organize in spring, the second edition of ENREG® ENERGIA REGENERABILĂ, 17.-19.03.2010, in Arad, west Romania.
